The project was entered into the category for Best Reuse and Waste Prevention Project as ReUse has diverted over 940 tonnes from landfill since 2014 whilst helping over 100 people to find employment. Sara Knagg, ReUse Coordinator said “to be recognised for this achievement at a national level is a huge compliment and a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the team. We are up against national companies, including the NHS, so to be finalist is an accomplishment in itself.”
